After moving to Montana, Mary worked extensively with the contracts director at a software and hardware firm in Massachusetts, reviewing documents and performing other services requiring concentrated blocks of work in a limited time-frame that would be difficult for contract administrators busy with their own workloads. (For example, when the company acquired other companies, Mary reviewed all of the target’s contracts and prepared the required notices of assignment or assignment agreements.) The documents Mary regularly reviewed included software licenses, supply agreements (including federal contracts) and general business documents like office leases and consulting agreements. Mary also worked with the director on educational materials for her staff and other company employees.
Mary performed these services as a consultant, not as an attorney. She worked closely with the contracts director to ensure that the contracts reflected terms consistent with other company agreements and company policies.
Please email Mary if you would like to discuss options for consulting work for your company. She also can provide a reference from the contracts director in Massachusetts.
